Pros

EMS has great people throughout the organization and 'most' will do all they can to support legitimate sales pursuits. Most of the old sales obstructionists have been purged from the company.

Cons

For anyone joining EMS, just know they typically have 2 layoffs every year (Nov-Dec & late March) to shore-up the bottom line. Farmers with a book of business that's well managed with steady revenue growth are usually safe. However, it's been a revolving door when it comes to sales leaders and sales hunters.

Pros

It can be a great place to work depending on the functional area, department or business unit. Vacation package and benefits are decent.

Cons

company culture is inconsistent across the board. Promotions sometimes appear to be based on likeability versus merit. Company management can be clique 'ish.
