Pros

They want to do the right thing. 9-5 job except when the something goes wrong.

Cons

The promotion process is very bureaucratic. Heavy turnaround among the best. Changing top management every 12-18 month.

Pros

reasonable culture if you live locally, young sales team who enjoy socialising in Clapham. backed by a large company i.e. Experian. nice offices

Cons

address validation software is fairly outdated, management lacked structure and knowledge of how to successfully manage a new buisness team, all they seemed to focus on was account management. in my time 3 members of the new buisness team jumped ship within a very short period of time.

Pros

So far I have not seen any thing positive about this company

Cons

1) Exceptionally weak intermediate/ senior management. I have experience working for well over 5 companies and I have never come across any company where the management is so easily manipulated by a few politically motivated people. Most of the time management has to give in to the silly and immature demands of some junior staff who form unions and bully hard-working and sincere people. 2) Some junior people who were once part of Decisioning Solutions have been given better ranking jobs but they are unable to perform their jobs responsibly. These people also form a closed group with others who are friendly with them and they tend to rule this office. There is a culture of bullying and unfair work practices in this company. 3) Too much of politics which will make your life miserable and at the same time give you no opportunity to advance in your career or learn new things. 4) Frequent layoffs without any valid reason. A few months ago a project manager was hired for the GSG team and within just two months the intermediate management decided that they did not require the services of a project manager and let him go. The management planning is pathetic and the management sorely lacks professional ethics. 5) The Toronto office has just about 50 people and every month they have about 4 -5 people being laid off from this office. This will perhaps give you an idea of how unstable and unprofessional the management is. 6) The lower level management like the team leads, team managers and development managers have very basic qualifications and do not have any inclination to apply standards to their work or improve their work. They are also threatened by people who are highly educated and keep abreast of the changes taking place in the industry. So the lower level management play political games to get rid of people who are better qualified to take their place. 7) HR is no better than a puppet in this company. They are only there to do the administration work and nothing else can be expected from the HR here.
