Pros

Lots of sales training, big on SPIN & STRONGMAN methodologies. Good mentoring and structure in place

Cons

At times the level of structure and being told when to do what can feel a bit like being at school.

Pros

Its a big company and most of the people are nice. The package benefits are pretty good. It's a fairly stable place to be.

Cons

Its really easy to get lost in process - for everything from the myriad of blockages in place to slow down your ability to do your job to the management by a thousand cuts to blunt people development & rating processes in place which actively stifle career development.

Pros

Fairly competitive salaries for Nottingham area. Standard working hours. Large salaries for Experian's cosy middle management level. Good Location. Some decent and very hardworking people in the business still. FTSE 100 company which is mantaining a soild share price.

Cons

- Not many high-calibre individuals or recent graduates. - Middle management outnumbers junior staff by about 3:1 - Bonuses are quite poor; unless your Grade C/B or above. - Can be very unrewarding - constant focus on profits makes it quite a repetitive, one- dimensional working culture. -Some of the worst office politics you might have to encounter anywhere- pointless and mundane bickering are rife in some departments. - If you don't quite fit in, then it could be curtains pretty quickly. -Underneath the relaxed, casual atmosphere/dress code, lies quite a cut-throat corporate outlook from senior management. -Some employees have been at Experian for decades; fearing business change and new forthcoming regulations imposed from FCA. - Only one real competitive in the industry which makes for quite a tiresome business model.
