Great company, poor people management.

Pros

Colleagues past and current, great people working hard yet fun to be around. Most colleagues socialise and share their highs and lows and thereby helping each other. Good benefits that include an insurance and pension scheme. Salaries are competitive, office environment is modern.

Cons

Telesales is tough especially with targets that are set high, too high for most, meaning a driven and stressful environment. Commission projections are inflated, in fact, on hiring it states uncapped commission. That is not true, it is limited and subject to certain conditions that if not met commission payments are halved or wiped out altogether. Not an environment for a long term career.

Pros

As a fairly recent hire, I'm surprised at some of the negative reviews I've seen. From what I've observed, the new management in place for the last year or so is turning around a formerly more conservative shop. They are keen to bring on smart, quality people with a great attitude who are willing to do what it takes, share ideas and bring things to the next level. It's a very small shop which is part of a huge global organization so you get the best of both worlds. Locally, it is an open environment, receptive and encouraging of feedback and new ideas; where you can really make an impact. There's great work-life balance, and an embracing of agile philosophies and new technologies.

Cons

Vacation allocation for new hires is max 3 weeks annually for the first 2 years - local office has no flexibility to match your former even if you've been past that for a long while.

Pros

Good people to work with. Good intentions. Relaxed on work from home, useful mobile setup.

Cons

management's good intentions against red tape seemed to result in peripheral fixes rather than than core outlook
