Pros
easy to get promoted if you work hard, if you just need pocket money it isn't bad if you work 4 hour shifts here and there. your coworkers are the only reason you'll go to work.
Cons
Money over employees. They expect you to sell $250 an hour in order to justify having you there. All this while they're paying you minimum wage. Management is poorly setup and so is the scheduling. You'll have busy days with no one around for support and slow days with too many associates. They'll cut hours from everyone just so the DM's and RM's don't complain about going over. There is NO overtime. At all. You'll get in trouble for going over 40. The shifts get longer and longer and the demands are unrealistic. Make them as much money before you inevitably quit should be their slogan. They have no theft policy, so anyone can walk in, steal an item, walk out, and you can't do anything. You'll get fired if you even call mall security. Shoplifters are free to return ANY STOLEN MERCHANDISE for new items. Yet you'll still get in trouble when the managers can't figure out why theft is so high. Express creates a dangerous environment for their employees when dealing with shoplifters or even customers that choose to cuss you out because you're following procedures. All they have to do is call customer service and say that you were somehow rude for doing your job and following EXP's rules, and the company will send them a gift card and you'll get yelled at by a manager.
