I have a friend that worked with no time off for 6 plus years. Never missed a day for covid. Covered multiple properties when no one else would. Updated data systems, trained incoming GMs. Made 1 error months ago. Was due to get retention bonus, 3 month above average sales bonus and 3 HOURS before (37 hours) bonus was to be paid, DM came by and said you made an error several months ago (which they were notified of at the time) and said so for that reason you are fired. Am in total shock at the cruelty and heartlessness of this . No warning, no written or verbal warning, just fired. Just like that. What kind of a company does that? This friend is a senior citizen.
