Pros

ESA has a benefit of good managers for oversight. Select few associates with proper superior training in multiple positions. Offer opportunities of cross training if you are considering a different position in the hotel operations.

Cons

Extreme exposure to intense micromanagement of the District Managers. Poor adherence to Federal and State payroll guidelines. Human Resource is not effective in ensuring safe working environment. Some General Managers are 'fill-in' managers to make a District look good regardless of poor hotel up keep. Some associates demand respect and request granting based upon internal relationship with management, and seniority(allegiance to the company).

Pros

You may like your co-workers.

Cons

Management does not care about you. They are more about penalizing than inspiring you. Do this, do that...or else! You will spend your time verifying you did the work. Instead of letting your achievements speak for themselves. Perform a task, send a text saying it is completed, then scan a document proving you did the task and upload that to your boss. Put the document in a binder. You will spend more time proving you did a thing, than doing the thing.
