Pros

It is a GREAT TIME to be a part of Extreme. There has been a whirlwind of activity and growth within our company over the last year with the Zebra WiNG and Avaya acquisitions and the pending Brocade SRA business coming onboard - I cannot think of a better organization or a better time to be a part of something great. Throughout the company there is a level of excitement and enthusiasm that I have never experienced in my career. With the growth and market expansion of Extreme, today there are clear paths for professional growth and expanded opportunities in the company.

Cons

The time requirement can be stressful.

Pros

Fast moving company with opportunities for those that look for them and demonstrate their ability. Recent management changes has delivered good results as focus is on driving improvement and change and not on old loyalties and maintaining status quo.

Cons

Still some pockets of 'why do we need to change'. Mid management training should get more focus. Communication could be better at the functional level. Not a company for those that want a regular 9-5 job. Expectations are high and people are expected to put in long hrs.
