Pros

I have worked for Nortel, Avaya and now Extreme Networks and love this company. I have been provided the ability to move from being an Engineer into Management with the help of my manager and director. Extreme wants to keep good talent and will assist you in growing your careers. We are kept well informed of products, how the company is doing and where we are going.

Cons

Only one Con and this is was a manager issue. When I was a Senior Engineer I had to travel way too much, nearly every week. This was due to working for a poor manager, when I was moved to a different team the manager was great in allowing me to have a work/life balance. The good thing about Extreme is upper management allowed me to change groups and not just let me quit.
