- Software is a bit behind. - The product is a bit boring. It uses Linux , which is good, but overall the product is not very interesting ( or at least to me ) - Use of legacy code and maintenance of it. ( I was working on their string based protocol, which was very 1980's ) - Avg age of engineers is very high, everyone is a "Senior" - Very little diversity (no female engineers when I worked there) - Set hours the place is open. Everyone has to be out of the building by 6.30pm ... Could be an advantage. - Unwilling to share in the profits or give out stock options. - No work from home. - Weird about hours you are there, although they don't want you to work more than 40 hours, so that is good in many regards. - Very "blue collar" mentality towards all workers. Again, just a tad weird in some regards. - No chance to advance - Benefit package is below avg.

Singapore office has a WITCH!! Super micro managed, can standing behind you quietly to make sure you don’t spare a single second to do other unrelated matter to your work. She likes you, you lives. She hates you, you are fired immediately, no reason given, no justification needed, no exit interview which to her is an unprofessional practice. WEIRD!! You are required to be on-time to work, must not late even in a seconds, if it is not avoidable, need to report beforehand, gives estimation arrival time. Not apply to her. Manager cannot lunch together with its subordinate. Employees between different departments cannot lunch together. In office cannot talk on work unrelated matter between employees. If she doesn’t understand what you are doing but your manager knows it very well, you are still FIRED immediately, no hassle for job handover. All employees are being oppressed, no freedom, treated like a machine to work 100% during office hour.
