Pros

Great career potential for incompetent people who know how to manipulate through political means.

Cons

Traditional old school southern oppressive culture and environment. Poor current local engineering department leadership contributing to loss of needed organization competencies to sustain as a viable company and industry leading facility.

Pros

Good salary, focus a lot on safety, good working environment depending on location, HQ at town area is ok, if working in the plant, will depend if the location is under a group that maintain the facilities

Cons

decision making can be extremely slow, managers might not want to make decision for fear of making mistake which will be a career limiting move, maybe i am just unlucky to meet this kind of managers
