Pros
In my experience Exxon provides stable employment in exchange for loyalty and being compliant with their rules. The work is not too exciting mostly, highly repetitive, but it can be learned quickly if good people teach you. Mostly good teams and relaxed people. Perfect job if you want to focus on family or other interests outside of work, because the schedule is not too busy and you can always plan ahead.
Cons
Salary was average and skill plus experience was not rewarded properly. Too many supervisors/managers are not local
