Pros

- You get paid very well - You can usually stay employed there for life if you want to and are competent in your job - The medial and 401k benefits are hard to beat.

Cons

- Very hostile workplace culture. The ranking system for engineers makes everyone very competitive and unwilling to assist their coworkers. - Your coworkers don't feel "like family". People don't look out for each other. - You are expected to work ridiculous hours in most engineering positions. If you have endeavors outside of work that take up significant amounts of time, this isn't the company for you.
