If you're the type of person who doesn't believe in your own potential and is content with below-average salaries for the rest of your life, with little apparent room for growth, then ExxonMobil may be the company for you. here were several high-salaried positions with unnecessary roles. We had an RTE (Release Train Engineer) with less experience in agile methodologies than junior developers. There were individuals whose only job was to send an email once a day (if not once a week). Some people were assigned tasks that nobody understood because, in reality, they didn't do anything, and their work had no value for the business. The company's performance evaluation system creates conflicts among professionals and fosters a culture of favoring unproductive seniors. The only way to receive a salary increase in this company is through a rigid ranking system that is tied to the employee's age. ExxonMobil, unfortunately, remains resistant to change and fails to adapt to modern working practices. While it may have a long-standing reputation, it is clear that in certain aspects, the company lags behind, hindering both individual and organizational growth.
