Pros

Excellent growing experience. The largest projects and world class processes, with early on responsiblities. Good working environment and working hours. You are changed around roles very fast, which is a pro but also a con since some roles will invariably not suit you. If you're a creative person, chances are you will impress people since most employees are the "very thorough/soldier/family guy" types.

Cons

Working in such a large corporation, bureaucracy is a heavy burden. A lot of people get overzealous trying to promote Safety and Controls at the expense of more value-adding activities. Commercially quite risk-adverse.

Pros

Extremely high ethical standards, very high calibre people and good opportunities to move domestically and internationally. Interesting work opportunities.

Cons

Tends not to focus on the value of people. No internal advertising of positions so you may have little or no idea of your next position until it is offered to you. Very ridged systems and policies, particularly with respect to relocations.
