Pros

There's a change in position every year. So you might get experience in different sectors. You are always in contact with people from different countries such as Thailand, Hungary, US, Canada, etc.

Cons

There are few international opportunities and perhaps you will be getting new positions horizontally but not promotions vertically speaking.

Extremely Subjective Performance Reviews

Pros

The only good thing about ExxonMobil is that you can include a recognazible and respected company in your resume for future job searches.

Cons

Horrible system of performance appraisal. It is extremely subjective in the sense that it is based more on how well you get along with your supervisor than on the achievement of your objectives. Narrow minded management. Management does not provide a clear career development plan for employees
