Pros

Committed to safety. High on cash flow as a company, with clear business direction and strategy. Walk the talk most of the time

Cons

Compensation package is not one of the best in the industry. Peer appraisal and promotion is too subjective, compared to equivalent companies in the same industry. Value westerners more than locals

Pros

I think the best reasons to work there are, the pay, the consistent raises the first two years, the exposure to new and challenge things and the educational reimbursement policy

Cons

The cons of XOM are somewhat unavoidable. Due to the size you can be just a number it also has a rank system that can produce an extremely competitive culture. Finally work experience is largely dependent on supervision.
