Executive leadership is poor. No vision or compelling story shared with employees. Executive management does not consider the human part of the equation and sees employees as only machines. No effort made to motivate or inspire. ExxonMobil continues to cut costs and reduce employee benefits. Training of employees cut. Morale building events cut. Current CEO seems to only know how to cut costs and has no idea how to grow the company. Jobs in what company calls high cost locations such as North America and Europe are being cut and sent overseas to lower cost locations.

Excessive leadership and not enough worker bees, middle management has no training to be managers but also have too many meetings to sit in to actually develop their employees, compensation is NOT up to par in comparison to the industry. ExxonMobil does have the best of the best employees but they aren’t being retained anymore like they were in the past.
