Pros

-Pays well -Decent medical and dental benefits -Hires smart people.

Cons

-Evaluations are extremely "good ol' boy" based on how much your reporting senior likes you, not how well you perform your job. -Remarkably poor leadership worthy of a case study. -Toxic and dishonorable environment.

Pros

Used to have job security and good pay for international opportunities.

Cons

Toxic environment due to performance assessment process. Pay well behind industry peers. Job security gone under current CEO. Current senior management more focused on cost cutting and pleasing Wallstreet rather than long term value of company.
