Pros

Lots of opportunity to work in different roles and build various skills and be exposed to multiple parts of the business. High performing peers that are capable of amazing accomplishments. You will come across lots of good people.

Cons

The performance assessment system can be brutal, especially for those in supervision. The company over the last 4 years has seemed to prioritize shareholders more than its employees. A lot of employees are unhappy with the current culture.

Pros

I started working here after a hotshot from Exxon went up to the drive thru that I worked at when I was 16. He ordered a burger, no tomato cause only wusses don’t eat tomato’s, but what do I know?!?! Anyways, he gets a burger, he is on his hardwired cellular phone in his car, takes a big bite of his burger, and glances over at me, where my jaw is dropped as I wait for him to take the change from my hand that’s been extended for a minute, and he says “keep the change eh? You need it if you are gonna work for me someday!” Tomorrow, 8am sharp! Bring a mop!” So I got the job. I didn’t tell him I only worked the cashier and I didn’t make his burger. Oh well.

Cons

Every time I turn around somebody needs something! It can be annoying. Oh, there was this one time, they brought some barrels of oil in, and I happened to be mopping around them, and my buddy sends me a text, but while reaching for my phone, the mop drops and punctures a hole in the side of the barrel. My boss saw me pull the mop out, and called me an idiot. He made me plug the hole with my mop, but I thought my finger would make more sense. Well, I waited there all day until they got someone in to drain the barrel. I ended up missing my lunch.
