I think my experience was tainted by a rigid supervisor and manager. They were stuck in old corporate ways…anti wfh even after we returned post pandemic, hypocritical, long runways to (only vertical) promotion. I have heard of others who had better experiences with more reasonable bosses. I’d say 90% of close colleagues have left for jobs in Dallas, Austin, and other big southern/non Texas cities.
