Best Company I've Ever Worked For!

Pros

I am constantly trying to recruit my friends to work at F5 -- and by the way I am NOT a recruiter so that says a lot. I've been with the company for 8 years and during that time a day has not gone by where I haven't been thankful to have landed at such a great company. The people I work with are smart, dedicate and extremely enjoyable to be around. The leadership team is super solid, down to earth and willing to listen to employees. We have an awesome rewards program which treats us technical people to the exact same perks as our sales colleagues who usually get the "exclusive" trip incentives! Not at f5! I have been fortunate enough to have been selected for our Five Star Trip in past years which includes people outside of sales...completely unheard of in other companies I'm familiar with. Our culture is awesome, our gameroom, food, parties are fantastic, our technology is the "Ferrari" in the industry -- what more could you want?

Cons

Because we're a growing company, I think communication is our biggest challenge. It can be tough at times to keep everyone in the loop and on the same page.

Pros

Company values in innovation, trust and commitment. Office culture is friendly, everyone is ready to help you. F5 thinks and take care of his/her employees. Giving campaign is part of the culture and contributing and organizing something new is so simple. Fun while cutting edge work is what people do here @ F5 Networks

Cons

Till now I haven't seen or heard of people talking much of problems on compensations, personal growth. Training is something which is evolving but F5 is bringing technology into play with video recorded sessions to instructor lead course offerings

Pros

Laid back atmosphere. HR and the business keep information at the employees finger tips. Good ideas are always encouraged. I've been here 6 months and management and co worker really strive to get all points of view listened to. Benefits are great. 1st company I worked here in down town Seattle that has made parking hassle free.

Cons

A lot of moving parts. Sometimes that can be a challenge in trying to understand the level of priority or what in fact is driving the business. is it sales? Is it customer satisfaction, is it process improvement? Etc. CEO mgmt could be more visable to its employees and offer more communication. Tid bit siloed but most IT companies are.
