Pros

It's a paid job with benefits and three weeks of vacation.

Cons

The company will happily violate Ontario labour law to avoid having to admit that some policies are badly worded, it significantly underpays for the amount of work demanded, there's an unenforceable clause in the pay contracts (no company in Ontario can force an employee to sign away their right to discuss their compensation) and a lot of the management seem completely willing to make themselves look incredibly stupid to avoid acknowledging that maybe there's flaws in the system.

Pros

-Generous PTO and sick days. -Great benefits, dental, health, etc -Majority of co-workers are helpful and very good people -2 days work from home, but mandatory 3 days in office.

Cons

-Management doesn't act on feedback or issues. There's this one girl who yaps for like hours a day and she gets away with it because she's a favorite. They just sent out a general email saying "watch the time u talk on the floor", maybe actually confront the person who's been doing this for months?? -Micromanagement is a major issue. Instead of actual management engaging with employees, they rely heavily on tracking software to micromanage every move. It creates a very toxic and stressful work environment. -Its corporate "yes man" culture. Just go along with the crowd, don't expect any changes or real growth. -The company is extremely resistant to change, even when improvements are clearly needed. -I’ve brought up concerns around pay and lack of value many times, but nothing ever comes of it. Raises are not performance-based, and there’s no incentive to go above and beyond. They only do raises when required (minimum wage going up) -There’s no clear path for advancement or professional development. If you're ambitious or looking to grow your career, this isn’t the place for you. -3 days required in office heavily pushed by upper management. Because "work culture" when we literally just sit in cubicles and maybe get a pizza party or sandwiches once every 3 months lol -CEO is pro Donald Trump, yikes
