I’m very sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your experience with FDM. We appreciate that the programme may not suit everyone, which is why we spend time upfront going through the model and all the terms and conditions, during the assessment process. We present the whole programme including the two-year bond which is a commitment by FDM and you. There is a 2 week ‘cooling off’ period after starting for you to really work out if FDM is the right career move for you. The training is fully funded by FDM and, like any business, FDM needs to realise a return, this is why the two-year bond is in place. The vast majority of FDM consultants progress to enjoy successful and rewarding careers. I’m really sorry that it didn’t work out for you though. If you have any more feedback, please feel free to email me directly at andy.brown@fdmgroup.com Andy Brown – Chief Commercial Officer

Pros

- Outstanding office and facilities: always clean, modern, great central location, great kitchen/coffee machines, great stationary provided, desk and chairs are very comfortable, open plan office and no closed doors, games area - People: everyone is so down to earth and nice. There is no visible hierarchy and anyone at any level can comfortably speak to another. Lots of integration between teams, so you get to meet new faces in the office all the time. Generally everyone is positive, driven and has a good attitude towards work and problem-solving. - Management: very friendly and approachable, train you well, open to suggestions, down to earth and present in the office with the team, caring and inquisitive as to how you are getting on. Constructively critical if something goes wrong. - Other: the opportunity to train yourself on areas that you desire is there, all you have to do is ask. The company are also not afraid if change so if you have suggestions, you are encouraged to say them.

Cons

- starting holiday offering is not great (20 days but you have to take 3 for Christmas so technically 17 of your choice) - there is no set time for social activities, this has to be organised yourself if you want to do something on the side of extra fun. It would be good to have some after work clubs or something like "dress down Friday" once a month just to boost employee morale.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I'm glad you're enjoying your career with FDM. We are always looking for ways to improve and I completely agree that social activities are important. We are currently introducing a social committee to organise more events for team-building, so watch this space! Sheila Flavell - COO
