Pros
The FDM training is a great way for recent graduates to get a foot into the door of the IT field, and prepares them to be working in a professional environment. Trainers are very friendly and helpful. They answer all questions you may have, are happy to provide help during free time, and are always willing to set up mock interviews with you. An abundance of resources, examples, information, and presentations are provided to help you through training, life on site, and beyond. Although opportunities are more abundant for geo-flexible trainees, opportunities are still plentiful for TriState only trainees. The location of the NYC office on Wall Street is easy to get to by public transportation. In person and email communication with account managers/trainers is very easy and open.
Cons
Training is very high paced, so it can feel a little overwhelming at times. Pay isn't on the same level as entry level positions at other companies.
