Pros

-Graduates get this unmatched opportunity of working with big names in financial services industry on rotational bases, which is not provided by any other graduate programs -The roles that FDM's clients (Investment Banks & Financial Services Firm) have to offer are in Entry-Mid level roles. This means that these graduates get a significant role in a big firm which they otherwise would not have got as a fresh graduate. So there's an amazing learning opportunity -It is not a recruitment firm. It trains its trainees, provide them with various certifications which would have cost them a lot if they had to do them on their own. -After working for 2 years with FDM clients, you get an opportunity to be internalised by one of them- meaning great salary and benefits at a Mid level role after just 2 years of work experience -FDM also provides international opportunities for its outstanding candidates- harder you work, more you get rewarded -FDM is a like a family to all the consultants placed at different banks and they all get together every once in a while to celebrate their journey. Events organised are great and fun

Cons

-The contract is for 2 years- however after 2 years you have a possibility to get internalised directly by one of the FDM's clients at great benefits or you could continue to work with FDM

Pros

-Very good start to your career -Gain valuable experience (when placed on site with blue chip companies) -FDM top clients are GREAT to have on your CV esp if you're just starting your career straight out of uni -I would definitely

Cons

-Salary is considerably low but after 2 years you will be worth double that amount- so in my opinion its worth the wait. -Tied to 2 year contract, but then again you might as well gain 2 full years experience in your role due to competition in the market

Pros

Easier way into big companies, e.g. investment banks, than their own grad schemes. They give you training initially which helps develop your technical and professional skills before starting your placement. Good preparation if you haven't had a job in a corporate environment before.

Cons

The pay isn't great compared to permanent employees at the businesses you're placed at. It's less than half of what your peers are earning so it's hard to keep up with their lifestyles.
