Pros

2 months of training on UNIX, Java, Web development with JavaScript and JSP + Communication training so you are also trained for tackling technical interviews and presentations There are salaries for training and the clients you will work for after the training are mainly global commercial and investment banks so you have plenty of exposure working in the business environment

Cons

There is a penalty fee if you break the 2-year contract, however it is there to protect the company as they provide you 2-3 months of training

Pros

FDM has very good connection to the global famous banking companies, the employee here comes from different backgrounds with different talents.

Cons

The training here is not as useful as expected, there is no concept of "confirm" here. I have not idea why people still using eclipse for Java development in 2016.

Pros

FDM provides training for fresh graduate that includes basic technical skills and financial knowledge. Trainees without technical background can learn technical knowledge and work in IT industry. Also, most of the trainees are fresh graduate so trainees can expand their network and meet new friends from different countries and universities. The trainers are kind and helpful to answer trainees' questions. The clients of FDM are mainly in financial industry so it is a good platform for fresh graduate to gain experience in ibank or famous financial enterprises.

Cons

The training course is very intensive. Trainees need to learn new knowledge and have assessment every week so trainees can just remember all the things but not actually learn it. As the teaching materials are made by UK staffs so the content may not be useful in HK. Also, even though trainees are having training, the account managers will push trainees to have interview with clients. They always ask trainees be proactive, although trainees can maintain good relationship with other trainees and trainers.
