      fgf brands is not a good company! Do not work for them! Very poisonous work environment.

      Pros

      - If you have no work experience in your field it's a good place to gain experience (but once you do move on!) - no politics - compensation is ok

      Cons

      - Staff brainwashed to think its a collaborative, growing, dynamic company! - Abusive senior management - No real management (only the 3 owners) the other Directors, Managers really have no say - Lots of Turnover - people get fired every month! Revolving door! This will never change! - Long hours of work is expected 60+ hours - Swearing, cursing, intimidating, fearful culture! - You do what you are told - not allowed to speak up. - Expected to work your butt off all the time ... it's never enough! - Health & Safety not a priority - If you have any experience in your field (it could be waste of time for you) - They will work you hard and to max and let you go once they no longer need you

      Great Opportunity to Learn and Grow!

      Pros

      I have never worked for a company that has such a desire to succeed and grow. This means there are very few barriers, and if you can justify your ideas, there is a good chance that your ideas will be implemented. I have been given the opportunity to be involved in many meetings with the heads of different departments, and to really feel like I am contributing to the company's success. The company is growing at a very fast rate, therefore there are lots of opportunities for advancement. New manufacturing facilities are being purchased, and there is no shortage of open positions for those who wish to grow within the organization. Compared to previous work experiences, my day here at fgf goes by very quickly; I get to work, blink, then realize it's lunch time. Then blink again and its the end of the day. I am working more hours here than anywhere else I've worked, but the day goes by faster!

      Cons

      Because the company is growing so fast and there is a lot change (new products and launches almost every week), it can be stressful at times. So it is important to be able to shift priorities easily, and avoid getting stressed during these moments of change.

      Pros

      Company is growing very fast. Our products are everywhere, and literally everyone at one point would have had something to eat from here. Ownership and senior management take quality and taste very seriously. The company truly values these very things above all else. Career wise, if you do what you are asked to do, and strive for more for yourself, you will be noticed and compensated.I've never worked in a company with so much freedom. The flexibility allows us to do things the way we want to.

      Cons

      To be honest there aren't many. Everyone here works very hard. That is the culture. It is not a match for everyone. I do want to mention though that we work hard, and party even harder (at our company events).
