      Pros

      1. Depending on the team, great if you're at end-of-career, lack ambition or just want to cruise because it's hard to get fired once you're in. 2. Good if you have no experience in cloud whatsoever and you need some experience. 3. There are some very bright people there who haven't been jaded by drive-by leadership. It just depends on the team, there are some good ones

      Cons

      1. Woke gender politics have taken hold of this corporation. Merit and hard work will not advance you within the company as much as politics will. 2. If you're talented, you'll likely get stuck a trap of cleaning up off-shore engineering disasters on their schedule on an all-hands bridge. 3. Depending the team, Microsoft Outlook will be the project management tool you use.

      Pros

      In my department work-life balance is relatively good, it's one of those jobs where the actual work you do amounts to about 3 hours out of your 8 hour day. Working remotely now, otherwise I would have given 1 star.

      Cons

      -Pay below others in the industry -Benefit offerings are subpar and does not set the company apart from others -Little chance for pay raises and they are small if you do receive one -Health insurance is terrible, the most expensive individual plan still has a $2700 deductible and barely covers anything until you meet that -Promotions in my department are pretty much non-existent -Company prioritizes cutting costs which of course falls onto the shoulders of everyone except for shareholders -Frequent layoffs -Always told to ask questions but the responses I always receive indicate I should have known the answer already

      Pros

      Very good work life balance. You can start working from home forever since pandemic.

      Cons

      No career growth. Senior management has no long term vision. Old knowledge. Nothing new is created. Compensation is not fair. If you want to get promotion or higher salary, you need to have connections. Promotion is not based on real skills. They love PowerPoint instead of real skills. Managers take credit for employees’ work and employees get no recognition.
