FINN Partners Response

Thank you for your feedback. Let me take this opportunity to share some thoughts on your comments. Finn Partners has grown rapidly over the past four years as a result of pitching and winning new business, growing existing client relationships and also as a result of acquisitions. Finn Partners launched in Dec. 2011 with a staff of about 150, and today has over 500 staff members, and since its launch, Finn Partners has been one of the fastest growing major PR firms in the world. Because of our growth, we have more practices, more depth of expertise in our practices, a broader range of services, and a wider geographic reach to offer clients, and this enables us to win clients we would not otherwise have won. Our growth creates professional opportunities for our staff, and it fuels our profits, which make salary increases and bonuses possible. All of our staff members are reviewed once per year, on the anniversary of their date of hire, or of their last review. Every one of our offices and groups must adhere to industry standard financial metrics, and their failure to do so can impact their ability to give salary increases, the size of their bonus pool, and their ability to hire additional staff. Except in the rare office/group that is underperforming, all employees who are meeting and exceeding expectations receive an annual increase, and also participate in our company-wide bonus program. We do monitor industry salary reports on an on-going basis to make sure that our salaries are consistent with the industry norms, and make adjustments in our salary guidelines for each level, as needed. Our goal is to continue to strengthen our practice areas, our services offered, and to expand our geographic reach as Finn Partners continues on its path as a world class global agency, so you can expect the firm to continue to grow through acquisitions. And, I am happy to report that the firm is consistently profitable, which is what makes it possible for us to give raises, share our profits through our bonus program, and continue to invest in the company. Pros

Mostly nice people, growing company, challenging work

Cons

People see through management -- too much lip service and not enough action around reviews, promotions, staffing. Lower pay than peer agencies. Focus on acquisitions with little integration planning makes staff feel unsupported. too many silos.

Great place to work

Pros

It's quickly growing but feels like a small company. Senior leadership know you by name, and are invested in the lives of junior staff. Does well with company culture - summer and holiday parties you actually want to attend, monthly happy hours, generous summer Fridays and telecommute policies.

Cons

Salaries are lower than other industry leaders. Teams feel perpetually understaffed for the work load that is expected.
