Agency Life Doesn't Get Much Better than FINN

I've experienced a couple different PR/marketing agencies in my career and this has by far been my best yet. No BS, hierarchy nonsense. Collaborative work environment in the Midwest region and beyond across the network. Truly awesome colleagues who are inspired by the company's "people'focused" mantra. Freat benefits and tons of PTO days. A CEO unmatched in the industry -- his kindness, business approach to building the firm and openness make this place unique. Open-door management. Decent client roster. A work environment where everyone is heard and everyone has a chance to make a difference. If you want to do something or lead something or create something, there is no one stopping you. Yes, this year has been insanely busy but it really felt like a team environment/culture working together to get through it.

People at the Chicago office embody the value of nice. You have the opportunity to chart your path based on your passion points and skill sets - you aren't forced into a role like at other large agencies. Significant opportunity for professional development.

Cons

Like most large agencies, the workload and work-life balance related to compensation is not excellent. But they are catching up on salary competitiveness. Not an issue that is unique to Finn, but still, it can be challenging to balance.
