Pros

Fair wage, good hours - flexible vacations and caring management teams make this place the best work environment I have ever had the pleasure of working with.

Cons

Traffic getting there right now is hell, but they are working with the local business and state to fix that eventually.

Pros

- I was lucky enough to have a good manager who cared about our team and fought for us when we needed it. - The salary was good, not great, but good. - Work Life Balance was good. - Benefits were good.

Cons

- Management ignored innovation and products had no clear direction nor did anyone care to fix it. - Terrible onboarding for clients, who expected you to know everything in an environment where FIS had no idea themselves. - The company listed "people as their biggest asset" but fired people constantly and did it in terrible ways with no consideration for the people/person they were firing. - Sat in a room of 48 people where we were all let go and they told us we could "reapply" if we were still interested in working there. creating confusion as to why they wouldn't do interviews before letting people go and then letting go the people after the fact. - I can handle being let go to change direction of teams, because honestly - business is business - but doing it right before christmas when NOBODY is going to HIRE is a straight "Screw you" to people you claim to value.

Pros

If you want to work in operations (Non-IT), your job could be secure. Job is not secure for people in IT

Cons

FIS engages in atleast 3 rounds of layoffs every year. They can layoff anyone without any business reason. The only reason I can understand is that they want to save costs since their business is not growing, rather shrinking. If you are looking for long term career in a stable business, stay away from FIS. Plus, yearly appraisal cycle is very manager centric. If you in manager’s good books, you will get good ratings and promotions. If god forbid your manger is changed, you are doomed. Plus, they get lots of business restructuring every year, as a result of which your manager may change every year. Their business is doomed for failure.
