Pros

Top notch products. Older work force from upper management down leaving opportunities not available at other payment processing companies. Integration effort currently under way should be complete in 3 years. Those integration projects are very interesting work for a project manager.

Cons

Benefits are way behind the times. Almost every competing company offers more financial benefits to their employees and new employees only getting 1 week vacation is about 20 years behind. Bonus non existent for the rank and file workforce - again most (but not all) offer bonus whether it is in 401k or direct compensation.

Pros

Very flexible. Easy going office with helpful people. As always, there are a few bad apples that spoil the bunch, but thats just the nature of the beast. Very low pressure as long as your work is getting done as needed. The flex time benefit is awesome, and the ability to work from home is very enticing also.

Cons

Certain managers are very rude to their employees, some being down right mean. There is some respect issues amongst some employees. Some of the office equipment is outdated and needs to be replaced with more efficient office silutions.

Pros

Flexible work schedule and ablility to work remotely.

Cons

Lack of incentive programs and minimal annual increases that barely match inflation. The companies primary focus at the moment is to increase the stock price. Employees and their retention are not the current focus and will not be in the near future. It appears the company may be dividing up into part for a potential sale. I would be cautious about considering this a company to lay down roots in, but instead it would be best to use it as a place to gain experience and move on to somewhere more appreciative of your contributions.
