Great People, Interesting Work... but low pay

Pros

I enjoyed my time as an engineer at FMG and learned a lot in the process. The work is interesting, and technology decisions are made from the ground up. There are many passionate people who contribute on a daily basis and are appreciated for it. The company has had steady growth both organically and through acquisitions, and the technology stack and processes have evolved as well. 100% remote (years before everyone else), unlimited time off, decent benefits, and a paid week off in the last week of December.

Cons

The one and only downside that I experienced at FMG was the low pay, especially compared to the fast pace of work (though this is not unusual in SaaS companies funded by private equity).

Pros

FMG has been an amazing experience for me. The company continues to grow, my career has continued to grow, I've seen many of our teammates continue to grow their careers, our strategy and goals continue to grow, it's been a great place to be! FMG is -a place to grow (I understand that everybody can't get promoted but for me and many others FMG has been career enhancing) -a place where the people are truly amazing where the culture is welcoming, nurturing, performance driven, and accountable -a place of personal respect where everyone is valued and encouraged -a place to work hard and be rewarded for it -a place with solid benefits, you can tell they care -a place with a bright future

Cons

-Though good strides have been made some positions are still low paid -The pace of work does leave many breathless

Great Company to Work for

Pros

FMG is a great company because they have a great culture, fun employee events/get togethers, good upper management team and most positions are fully remote. The work schedule allows for every other Friday off, and the benefits package is pretty good. They also have a lot of holiday time off.

Cons

I don’t make enough money for the amount of work/stress I have. It also feels like my team is forgotten about, or looked down on, even though we do a lot of hard work.
