Pros

Good place to get experience if you have none.

Cons

No career growth unless you are in the upper management clique.

Pros

None really. Core management is motivated to start adding new reviews to make it look like they are a good company to work for, so at least they are engaged.

Cons

These folks know how to suck the ambition and drive out of the best resources. They putt non-technical people in charge of technical departments and constantly turn departments against each other. Developers are trying to get work done, QA gets rewards for blocking developers instead of working with them. Infrastructure is conically underfunded so that impacts Dev and QA. Qa resources are recruited from the pool of folks that answer the phones, so they have no clue what they are doing. Management thrives on chaos.

Pros

Truly nice, interesting work force. Educational & cultural values vastly exceed the state average. Company benifits hugely from its location in premier college community. Great place for local talent to gain marketable skills before leaving the nest for real careers in larger metro areas.

Cons

Mgt. is stretched beyond capacity. Good intentions simply aren't enough. Locally, the salaries are quite good. Save that as a way to buy your way out of what's really a very tiny place - both the company and the town it's headquarterd in. If you think college football rips off athletes - or taxpayers, this place really isn't for you.
