Pros

Coworkers were smart and experienced.

Cons

There is a good ole boy network. If you aren't in it or connected to someone that is, getting ahead is difficult. The Tech segment hasn't made money in many quarters. Recent attempts to sell the segment led to courting several suitors who backed out and those that did place a bid did so at a very low valuation. Recent attempts to lower costs to improve the financials seem desperate at best. Morale is currently low.

Hands on training, you can work with people that really care of you get with the right group, no micromanagement

Long hours, you will encounter some people that are unfriendly.

Pros

The projects can be very interesting and involve brand name companies. The colleagues with whom one works are very good to excellent. Work / life balance on the whole is pretty good.

Cons

Some managers lack maturity and are terrified of people that have significant experience. Politics, managers seeking to shift blame for their own unpreparedness, broken promises, lack of communication, attempts to take credit for work of others without attribution. Sales representatives are not the best: little boys and girls trying to sell to the senior management of potential clients.
