      Company has done well in the last few years. Opportunity to grow personally and professionally

      Cons

      No corporate culture. Years later, FTI is still a ball full of stuff. Wildly inconsistent hiring standards. No leadership.

      Lack of downward communication mars otherwise great place to work

      Pros

      Competitive salary, interesting work, great people to work with. Perhaps best however is the billable hour directed overtime bonus payouts. These easily make FTI a much better place to work than most other consulting firms around.

      Cons

      Upper management does a horrid job at communicating downward and interoffice communication is next to nothing. Training in general is very lacking as well.

      Quit buying more firms and focus on FTI's core consulting practice

      Pros

      FTI offers very high salaries and excellent benefits and vacation. The work can be very challenging (this is a plus). The work schedule is flexible, which can be good or bad - some days are not busy while other times you may have to work weekends.

      Cons

      The structure at FTI is very hierarchical. The review and promotion process is Byzantine. There is little support for mid-level managers - the transition from obtaining work from senior people to generating your own business makes it very lonely in the middle.
