Pros
Learned a lot in the last year or so and have more exposure to excel and PPT than my previous job. Glad i'm not working on the same product over and over so that is a plus. Benefits are pretty decent, if you work over a standard set of hours, you get some $ / hour over that. People do respect your time off when you have PTO
Cons
Not entirely sure the company has it together. Feels like sometimes this place is a newer firm and still figuring things out. We are growing which is good. However, do not feel like we are compensated enough compared to other consulting firms and people are leaving for better opportunities. Also, its very much up and out. Either you are great at what you do or can bring in business. Hours are 50-60+ at times which can be rough for work life balance, but obviously not compared to banking or PE. It sucks that you have to be always "on" and expect people to bug you in the evenings.
