The Company has great benefits depending upon where you fit within the organization.

Cons

The company headquarters being located in Washington DC actually creates a greater than average government-mindset. The politics are worse than in most companies but any mature-minded person can navigate them quite easily. Most younger careered individuals may find the environment rather challenging to navigate.

Good pay and bonus structure Good at helping employees structure goals Lots of access to courses and training

Cons

Terrible culture - particularly in Construction Solutions. Very competitive - management basically encourages employees to cross other employees in order to get ahead Expected to be available at all hours and cancel all plans if necessary (I was once instructed to cancel a flight to work over the weekend).

Pros

Very competitive salaries with decent yearly advances and a competitive discretionary bonus program. Above average employees can easily see 10 plus percent annual bonuses. Lots of PTO (more than many can actually use). Decent benefit package.

Cons

Not a lot of opportunities for continued advancement - especially for those who work out in the business segments as opposed to those who work for corporate.
