I feel that the disconnect between the corporate office/ upper management and the operations team is akin to a vast chasm. Upper mgmt rarely visits locations and when they leave their crystal palace, its a mad scramble to clean microwaves and paint the roses red. They have a very strange labor model the only flexes down, regardless of sales growth or "extra" tasks in the warehouse. Also do not expect yearly appraisals, because obviously yearly appraisals signal some sort of raise which is not in the cards.

Management never stops piling on the work even when you let them know its getting backed up. They don't care and then they have the nerve to ask.. Is it done yet??? The poor customers cannot get what they need, because we don't have the manpower to help them. I feel very bad for the customers that get lied to and ignored daily by middle management sales, because they are too weak to talk to their customers directly, because they now they are nothing but liars.
