Pros

- The company is growing fast - The company is doing interesting things - There is a lot of room to take ownership of projects - The people are wonderful (employees are nice to each other, generous with their time and knowledge, and tend to treat each other with respect)

Cons

- Growing pains - Not the right environment if you need a lot of structure/guidance

Pros

Factual has a nice company culture with many of the perks you would expect from ex-Googlers: flexible vacation policy, in-office yoga, occasional catered meals, etc.

Cons

Factual does not offer very competitive salaries and there is not much opportunity to grow at the company.

Regarding compensation, I’m sorry to hear that you feel that way. We put a lot of time into semi-annual reviews and regular benchmarking against the market to make sure we are competitive. We have a rigorous process that can result in increases in salary, equity, title, and responsibilities based on employee performance. We’ve had plenty of cases of people moving into leadership positions or switching roles and departments. -Great work/life balance. -Employees are wonderful! Very kind and respectful of others. -There is always room to grow into new positions. -Always excited to come into work.

Cons

-Not a company that provides a lot of guidance. -Need more women in senior management!
