Pros

Very busy work. Plus, the customers, 95% of the time, were nice, knew exactly what they wanted, and generally had good attitudes. Team outside of the Store manager, the job was enjoyable.

Cons

Management ( Store Manager), He had a very his way or the highway even with the other Management team members. He didn't want to listen; he wanted things done his way, or you could leave. The Management hierarchy chain is 100% real at this location. If you aren't a store manager, the rest of the company doesn't care about you.

Decent employee discount but toxic work atmosphere

Pros

The employee discount is decent.

Cons

I had 1 hour of training and left to myself to figure out the rest. Asking for help seems to be a problem with most co-workers. Management stated this was a close, tight, group of employees during interview. On day one it was apparent this was a lie. It was very clear there was friction between the members of management and the rest of the staff. Employees stating "I should have just called off," "she really (explicit language) me off" "I wish people would just do their jobs!" So definitely a negative work atmosphere with clear favoritism. Management has zero urgency to take care of problems causing employee and customer distress. Examples would be lack of change in the drawer and inability to get answers or assistance in a reasonable amount of time. There's a lack in proper scheduling or organization, especially for events. There's a ton of finger pointing with little to no accountability.

Pros

Good Discount, casual work environment, Training videos/app are better than other companies

Cons

Upper Management does not care about the people at the store level. They allow toxic employees to run off the good ones, they do nothing to remove them, and if you use HR to request any help with toxic employees, you are blackballed from ever moving up in the company. Corporate staff is out of touch with what goes on at each store.
