Pros

Famous Dave's was a very interactive workplace. It was laid back, you wear jeans and a Famous Daves t-shirt to work unless you are a manager. They did a great job of bringing coworkers

Cons

I would have to work past my scheduled hours several times. Because several younger people worked here also, they would call of often. So, if you were supposed to leave, you would have to stay. I also did not think that it was the hostess' job to do bathroom checks. Also, the managers switched often because of people leaving.

Friendly fellow employees make it at least bearable.

Cons

Low wages resulting in too many servers competing for a living wage during any given shift. In other words, it does not cost a lot to keep too many servers on, so server morale and wages suffer tremendously, causing high turnover and animosity instead of enthusiasm.
