Pros

During peak season, you will be paid weekly. There’s opportunity for overtime. The job itself is so easy, you could train chimps to do it. If you’re a sports fan, you get to check out what kind of merchandise they carry in person.

Cons

This place has a favoritism problem. They’ll let certain people get away with disappearing for long periods of time, playing with their phones on the floor, and just standing around talking while YOU pick up their slack. They’ll tell you not to worry about getting laid off because “you’re here every day, you work hard, etc etc” but then you’ll get laid off anyway. When they lay you off, you don’t get told to your face, you get a text/email. There have been issues where your paycheck is wrong or even late.

Pros

Worked there many years with new roles. Excellent benefits. Tampa location has great people.

Cons

Too many layoffs, employee morale is low from the result. Upper management was not organized and they let too many people go that really knew their jobs and did them well.

Pros

Good work life balance, good people, good diversity and inclusion culture (to a fault, see below)

Cons

Low Pay, upper management never seems to know what's going on, extreme favoritism especially if you're a "Yes" man, little opportunity for growth, all the good leaders are lower in the hierarchy so good luck once you get an upper-level manager, TOO diverse and inclusive. Lots of diversity hires recently. Once overheard recruiters say they intentionally didn't hire a candidate for being a white male.
