A Nice Place to Visit, but Don't Expect to Live There

Pros

Nice people, interesting work, good location, good pay and benefits.

Cons

Executive management is eliminating full-time positions and making the layoff survivors do more work to take up the slack. This has created an atmosphere of fear and desperation.

Great pay, bad management

Pros

Great pay, great benefits, strong teams

Cons

More red tape than govt, continual cost cutting and layoffs, mgmt wastes money on unimportant work they think gives transparency but at the end of the day it does nothing but cause noise. Long hours, lots of yelling. Great place for bullies to get ahead.

Awful Experience

Business Outlook

Pros

High-ish compensation, good location in DC, generally good benefits, 9-5 work culture (a pro for some people).

Cons

9-5 work culture, not a lot of employee buy-in, layoffs killed morale, zero opportunity for advancement as a young employee, bad leadership, unresponsive HR.
