Pros

One of the biggest pros of working at Fannie Mae is its strong company culture—unlike other corporations I’ve worked for that advertise these values but don’t live by them, Fannie Mae genuinely fosters an inclusive, supportive, and respectful work environment. The company prioritizes work-life balance, offers clearly defined roles, and ensures capacity and workloads are carefully managed to prevent burnout. It’s refreshing to work for an organization that truly values its employees while also providing meaningful opportunities for growth and collaboration. Honestly, I can’t think of any cons—it’s a rare place where the reality matches the promise.

Cons

Nothing currently comes to mind other than the normal red tape and some current re-orging.
