Pros

Constant traveling so nothing ever stayed the same long enough to feel stale. You were always interacting with new people and finding yourself in interesting situations. A lot of room for personal and professional growth given the wide array of stimuli you would frequently experience. Very good pay with lots of opportunity for overtime. You often form a bond with the people you work with given the strange nature of the work you do.

Cons

Huge amounts of time spent away from home, friends and family. Long working hours could leave you feeling exceptionally drained. Customers could be absolutely horrible, aggressive and sometimes threatening. Expectations of management could sometimes be unrealistic and callous. Adjusters were held to a high standard of production and efficiency however, if an adjuster recorded their time incorrectly just 3 times in a pay period they were subject to immediate termination. Errors in time recording through the company provided time-punch app could sometimes occur because of latency issues if the adjuster was in an area with poor data service but almost no leeway was given for this. I once witnessed a team member with more than 30 years experience with the company be fired due to having 3 time recording errors during a single pay period.
