-Outdated work patterns
-Disinterested middle management
-Unproductive office politics
-Questionable project management practices which lead to (unpaid) overtime for salaried workers and poor allocation of contracted resources. Lots of wasted work and project money.
-Need to be proactive if you want to grow and develop your skillset and career. Need to be comfortable asking for training and pushing your manager to get it for you.
-Poor commitment to agile best practices - non-technical project managers regularly overstepping development teams to dictate design decisions
-Failure to address managers who regularly cross the line into disrespectful and discriminatory behaviors (in my experience, ageism towards others)
Showed true colors. CEO Just wants to set his expectations.
Cons
Just over a year ago, we were told we would be considered completely virtual. New CEO doesn't uphold promise, and requires attendance to whatever office is within 50 miles of your current residence. Latest wage increase does not cover inflation, and there will be no adjustment for the additional costs of transport
