Pros

Lots of PTO and benefits. Work wise, it is not too complicated to figure out.

Cons

Agile based environment. It is such a chaotic and fast paced process that leads into undefined projects and timelines. Waterfall was much better. Agile creates no room to breathe, project after project.

Cons

Pros

You'll gain much experience, mainly because you will quote A LOT. There are many products to sell.

Cons

There are too many to list. Not enough pay, 60-70 hour work weeks, little to no praise, constant micro-management, constantly trimming commissions, products being removed and then a year later being returned to the market at 200%-300% the cost with much less robust coverages, no one ever has a good office culture. Every single Farmers Agency is staffed with overworked, depressed, undervalued and underpaid employees.
