This is a brutal claims department to work for. Employee morale is very low. Management in this company is like a pack of wild hyenas. They don't care about anything except for their own position. Upper management in this company is like a game of musical chairs. They're always coming up with silly new ideas and pilot projects, and usually for selfish reasons more than anything else. Their performance objectives have changed every single year that I've been with the company. If these geniuses are so smart, then why do they have to change everything all the time? The workload in claims is way too much to handle. My fellow claims adjusters and I are walking around in a daze half the time due to the stress. Adjusters with 10-20 years of experience are leaving or retiring, or going on anti-anxiety meds just to get by.
